TELUS World of Science - Edmonton (TWOSE) strives to continuously refresh, renew and augment our School Program offerings. This year, part of our efforts to develop programs that are suitable and accessible for even more teachers and students is to begin developing a library of programs available in French.
Here is a selection of French programming available at TWOSE.
French Day at TWOSE: September 26, 2016
In partnership with the Fish Eye Project, we'll be hosting a Live Dive entitled "La Fabuleuse Remontée du Saumon," presented in French. This is a chance for you and your students to go beneath the surface of the river to witness first-hand the fall salmon run.
Time: 11:00 a.m. in the IMAX Theatre
Cost: This program is included in Building Admission ($9.00/student)
For just $3.50/student add a French planetarium show at 10:00 a.m.: "Deux petits morceaux de verre - le télescope fantastique" (Two Small Pieces of Glass).
At 1:30 p.m. watch one of our newly-revamped Science Demonstrations, performed in French on the Science Demo Stage! (Note: Science Demos are now included in Building Admission)
